my friend created this; it’s inspiring, to say the least.

my latest obsession is…

this little show called GLEE. anyone hear of it? maybe? of course. my cousin from Tennessee came down this week, and with her came the first season of the show, along with every possible musical accompaniment…my grammar sucks today, but, whatever. anywho. point is. this show opened my eyes. in a sense. i’ve got to start a glee club at my school…or try…hmm…

shut me in, shut me down; i’ll get back up, i’ll get back out.

one leaf about hailing a cab

never in my life have i had to hail a cab. where i live, cabs don’t line the streets, as i see on television, nor are they spotted every day— or any day for that matter. the closest thing we have to a taxi is a river taxi.

a few years ago, i began to question the existence of cabs. taxi until i saw one, crusing down a major city boulevard. i then saw another several days later. i began seeing them off and on, maybe once a week or so. they aren’t yellow, at least not here. some are brown. others are orange. one company even have pink and white taxis, which remind me of pepto bismol. and in order to reserve a spot in one, you have to call. and in order to call, you have to do all kinds of searching.

i definitely am never taking a cab. at least not in this city. i’ll stick to more public transit, thank you.

i haven’t done this in two whole days. kudos to me.

add me here.

i’d rather be hated for who i am than loved for who i’m not.
